As of the updated weekly economic review of the Investment Bank, the revenues of the mentioned period exceed by 79.5% compared to the same period of the last year.
"Tourism revenues stood at USD 250 million in Apr-23. According to our estimates, tourism revenues continued strong growth up by 32.6% y/y, reaching USD 250 million in Apr-23. Overall, tourism revenues reached USD 1,045mn (+79.5% y/y) in 4M23, based on our estimate", - according to a report published by Galt & Taggart.
According to 1Q2023, revenues from tourism increased by 102% compared to the same period of 2022 and reached USD 795 million. In 1Q2023, tourism revenues from the EU increased by 64.7%, from Turkey - by 136.1%, and from Israel by 73.2%.
