School uniforms for first-grade students will be available for purchase across Georgia from September 1 to 14, the state-owned company “Educational Resources” announced.
According to the company, the uniforms will be delivered from China in three stages: the first shipment is expected on August 25, followed by additional deliveries on October 15 and November 30. The first stage will focus on first-grade students, while uniforms for second through sixth graders will be sold from October through December.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth introduced mandatory school uniforms for primary school students in public schools. “Educational Resources” Director Mikheil Kuparadze recently visited the ETON KIDD production facility to review the manufacturing process, technologies used, and quality control measures.
The company responsible for producing and supplying the uniforms was selected through a market research process launched by “Educational Resources.” Georgia-registered Glory Textile Industry was chosen as the supplier and partnered with China-based Jiangsu SUMEC ETON KIDD Brand Management for production. The state-owned company was established in February 2026 and is fully owned by the Ministry of Education.
