The South Caucasus Railway (SCR) company announces the launch of a seasonal international train service Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan, with the first trip scheduled for June 24. The train will operate until October 1 of this year.
According to SCR's press service, the train from Yerevan to Batumi will run every other day. During the summer season, the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan route will be suspended, and travel to Tbilisi will be possible via the Batumi train. Compared to last year, the travel costs have not undergone significant changes. Additional information and ticket prices can be found on the company's website.
In the first five months of 2024, SCR trains transported 217,000 passengers, which is 12% more than the same period in 2023.
