"Our company's dependence on the Russian and Ukrainian markets is 2-3%," Davit Azmaiparashvili, Gorgia's business development manager, told TV-Porgram Business Morning.
"We do not see any risks of reducing imports due to the Russia-Ukraine war, because Gorgia's dependence on these markets was already minimal. Despite the pandemic and the war, we try to maintain product prices. At the moment, we have the lowest price on the market," said Davit Azmaiparashvili.
According to him, the pandemic can be considered over, there are no risks in terms of regulations, but it will take some time to return to the old level.
“Product shortage and increase in demand created another problem amid the pandemic. Shipping and logistics prices are increased, which is added by the Russia-Ukraine War. Total cost of transportation has increased by 300-400% compared to the previous year, but our company is doing everything possible to maintain prices," - said Azmaiparashvili.
Construction materials hypermarket Gorgia is operating on the Georgian market since 1998 and will open its 10th branch at the end of March.
