“We want to be not only financial supporters for our clients, but also strategic advisers,” Meri Chachanidze, Director of Corporate Banking Business at TBC said in an interview with TV-program Business Weekly.
TBC has won Euromoney’s prestigious “Best Corporate Bank” award for the third time. Chachanidze said the recognition reflects the strength of the bank’s team and its distinctive approach to clients, noting that TBC has built long-term partnerships with many companies over the past 30 years.
“Today, we serve 6,700 large corporate businesses. It is therefore not surprising that TBC’s corporate banking business is the leader and the number one corporate bank in Georgia, with a market share of almost 44%. Behind this is a very strong team of professionals with a distinctive approach, which has always been one of our key differentiators,” she said.
Chachanidze said TBC aims to go beyond providing financial support and act as a strategic adviser to clients. “We bring them ideas, they come to us with new opportunities, and we help turn these ideas and opportunities into reality. Until now, our corporate bankers and strong team have been the main drivers of this success, but today we are also increasingly using technology, including artificial intelligence,” she said.
