Rehabilitation works are underway on Tsinanauri Street in Tbilisi’s Krtsanisi district, with the project budget set at GEL 2 million, the Tbilisi City Hall told BMG.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said the project includes the complete replacement of deteriorated underground utilities alongside road infrastructure upgrades. A drainage network will be installed, and 8,000 square meters of road surface will be asphalted.
The works will also include improvements to pedestrian and traffic infrastructure, installation of outdoor lighting, and construction of monolithic retaining walls to stabilize the soil.
According to Kaladze, work is currently focused on installing the drainage system and underground utilities. Road rehabilitation will begin once these stages are completed.
