Applications are now open for the third round of Tbilisi City Hall's Micro and Small Business Support Program, with submissions accepted until November 12, Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced.
The program, launched last year, has already funded 80 entrepreneurs. This year, the maximum grant per beneficiary has increased from GEL 20,000 to GEL 50,000, allowing businesses to purchase equipment, improve product quality and expand production.
The program's eligibility criteria have also been expanded. While previously only businesses with annual turnover of up to GEL 500,000 could participate, the new round is open to entrepreneurs with annual turnover of up to GEL 1 million. Tbilisi City Hall will co-finance 70% to 90% of the requested amount.
The program is available to micro and small businesses registered in Tbilisi seeking funding to purchase equipment and machinery necessary for their operations.
