The Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, believes that Georgia’s continued peace and stability are the driving force behind the influx of major investment projects in the country.
Speaking to journalists about the construction of the 70-storey Trump Tower Tbilisi skyscraper, Kaladze expressed his gratitude to all the companies interested in bringing the project to life.
“Overall, Georgia remains an attractive destination for investment. Many publications highlight this, and the ongoing interest, investments, and our country’s economic growth all demonstrate this interconnected reality.
Most importantly, thanks to the policies implemented by the Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia government, we enjoy peace across the nation. This peace, in turn, encourages investments and facilitates the realisation of such ambitious projects.
I would like to thank all the companies interested in this endeavour. This project is yet another proof that Georgia is an appealing country when it comes to investment opportunities, taxation, and various other factors,” stated Kakha Kaladze.
He assured that the government, guided by its policies, will do everything possible to support business development.
“Our approach will certainly continue to promote economic growth, further develop the country, and ensure the well-being of our citizens,” added the Tbilisi mayor, noting that further details of the project will be shared once the relevant proposal is submitted.
Regarding media reports about the involvement of The Sapir Organisation, whose chairman and executive director is Georgian-born Alex Sapir, Kaladze expressed his satisfaction.
“I am very pleased. Yesterday, I read that a young Jewish man of Georgian origin, who has roots in Georgia, is interested in investing here. He spoke very warmly about Georgia. I am glad to see this family investing in our country,” Kaladze concluded.
