Revenue from fines issued for parking violations in Tbilisi doubled in the first five months of 2026.
According to data published by the Treasury Service of the Ministry of Finance, the total amount collected between January and May reached GEL 8.79 million, which is 2.2 times higher than the same period last year, or an increase of GEL 4.8 million.
The city currently has 28,516 designated parking spaces, nearly half of which are zonal parking areas, while the rest are non-zonal.
The fine for illegal or improper parking in Tbilisi is set at GEL 50.
