The Municipal Development Fund has announced a rehabilitation tender for Tbilisi’s Grand Concert Hall, the Philharmonic, for the third time. The estimated cost is GEL 6.5 million, GEL 2 million higher than the previous tender.
The previous tender, launched in July 2026 with an estimated value of GEL 4.5 million, failed after both bidders were disqualified. The first tender was announced in September 2025 with an estimated cost of GEL 3.8 million but was later terminated by the fund.
The project includes preparing rehabilitation and cost-estimate documents, a building maintenance guide and providing author supervision. The planned works cover major upgrades to the hall’s stage infrastructure, acoustic systems and engineering communications.
The project will also include elevator modernization, new safety systems and full accessibility improvements for people with disabilities.
