The Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Infrastructure has launched an international tender for construction supervision services for the 4th and 5th lots of the Tbilisi Bypass project.
- Lot 4: 8.7 km section from Tbilisi Airport to Lochini Interchange
- Lot 5: 10.2 km section from Lochini Interchange toward Rustavi
The estimated cost for supervision services is $15,136,926, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and companies can submit proposals in English via the ADB website by April 21, 2026.
After the supervision company is selected, the Roads Department will announce a tender for the main construction contractor for these lots.
Currently, the 2nd lot (Tsitsamuri–Avchala) tender is ongoing with a value of GEL 490 million, and the 3rd lot (Avchala–Airport) tender is also in progress, valued at GEL 932 million. The full bypass will span 49 km with a total estimated cost exceeding GEL 2 billion.
