In Yerevan, on March 13, the business forum "India-Armenia: Bridging Business Horizons" kicked off, organized by the Embassy of India in Armenia. The event aims to explore investment opportunities, stimulate bilateral trade, and strengthen strategic partnerships in key sectors.

The forum focuses on discussing cooperation in high technologies, economy, space technology, and tourism. Participants had the opportunity to discuss cooperation in renewable energy sources, trade mechanisms, cultural and tourist exchanges, as well as the development of networking opportunities.

The forum was attended by the Ambassador of India to Armenia Nilakshi Saha Sinha, political figures, and business representatives. The event will continue for several days, providing participants with the opportunity for closer interaction and the creation of new business ties.

Recently, India and Armenia have been strengthening their relations. According to Indian media reports, which have not been refuted by Armenian official sources, Armenia has concluded deals with India for the purchase of weaponry worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Earlier, with reference to Indian Aerospace Defense News, BMG reported on the creation of an air corridor from India to Armenia for strategic exports. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) jointly formed a working group called HALCON. The goal of this group is to improve logistics between India and Armenia.
