The economic project totaling 12.3 million euros has launched in Armenia aimed at addressing energy challenges in rural communities. This information was disseminated by the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia on May 2.

The project, implemented within the framework of the program "Sustainable Energy for Resilient Community Development in Armenia" (SE4Resilience), is funded by the Ministry of Territorial Administration of Armenia with the assistance of the European Union (co-financing of 6.2 million euros) and the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (6.1 million euros).

The project's goal is to provide rural communities in the Tavush, Shirak, Gegharkunik, and Syunik regions of Armenia with the opportunity to utilize the potential of renewable energy sources and enhance energy efficiency.
