The Vice Prime Minister of Armenia discussed cooperation issues with the Regional Director of the EBRD

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan met with the Regional Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Alkis Vryenios Drakinos, on April 26th.

According to the government's press service, the meeting discussed issues related to the implementation of projects carried out in Armenia with the participation of the EBRD.

Grigoryan expressed gratitude for the active involvement of the EBRD in various projects, particularly in the private sector. He emphasized the EBRD's key role in the implementation process of the economic and investment plan approved by the European Union.

The importance of the EBRD's annual high-level meetings and business forums in Yerevan was also highlighted during the meeting.

The EBRD has already invested around 2 billion euros in 206 projects in Armenia, supporting the development of the private sector, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and the financial sector.
