“According to the research, the road will be closed for 98 days due to climate conditions; After the implementation of this project, it will not be closed not a single day," he said.
According to Irakli Karseladze, special equipment is mobilized for the construction of the 9 km tunnel. At the same time, the Minister of Infrastructure has talked about the importance of the Kvesheti-Kobi road and noted that the road will become those 10 villages into “New Gudauri”.
“The project provides 5 tunnels, which covers 10 villages. We see how great is its potential, as those 10 villages will become into New Gudauri”, - said Irakli Karseladze.
