In 2022 the external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 19 billion, 33% higher to 2021. The exports equaled USD 5.6 billion, which was 33% up. Imports increased by 33%amounting to USD 13.4 billion, - shows the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Accoridng to the document, in 2022 the share of the top ten trading partners by imports in the total imports of Georgia amounted to 67.5%. The top partners were Türkiye (USD 2 370.9 million), Russia (USD 1 835.4 million) and China (USD 1 126.0 million).
