In August 2025, the total number of vacancies was published on jobs.ge amounted to 7,279, which was 11.0% lower than in July 2025 and 3.0% lower than in August 2024,- according to the report published by PMC Research Centre.
Month-over-month, vacancies decreased across all categories. The smallest decrease was observed in IT and programming (-8.5%), while the largest was in finance and statistics (-18.4%). Year-over-year, IT and programming saw the largest increase (+25.2%), whereas administration and management experienced the largest decline (-13.7%).
From June to August 2025, a total of 28,819 vacancies were published on jobs.ge, 3.2% lower than in the same period of 2024. Administration and management contributed most to this overall decline, with a decrease of 7.1%.
During this period, 932 IT and programming vacancies were published, marking a 22.6% increase compared to June–August 2024. Finance and statistics saw 4,540 vacancies, up 7.1% year-over-year. Sales and procurement had 6,060 vacancies, reflecting a 4.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
Overall, while the total number of vacancies has slightly decreased, growth in IT, finance, and sales categories indicates continued demand in key sectors.
