The Armenian Tourism Committee has published statistics showing a decline in tourist visits to Armenia in June of this year.
According to the report, 180,718 tourists visited Armenia in June, which is 9.3% lower compared to the 199,159 tourists during the same period last year.
Overall, in the first six months of 2024, 947,512 tourists visited the country, which is 5.8% lower than the same period last year, when more than 1,005,163 tourists visited Armenia.
The highest number of tourist visits in June 2024 came from Russia (41%), Georgia (13%), and Iran (7%).
