Traffic will be restricted on certain sections of roads in connection with the upcoming Tbilisoba celebrations.
According to the Tbilisi City Hall, during the preparatory work and the events dedicated to Tbilisoba, from 12:00 on September 19 until 12:00 on September 22, movement of vehicles and public transport along Kosta Khetagurov Street will be limited.
According to the municipal authorities, the restriction will apply to the stretch from the area near the “Wissol” gas station to the intersection of Kosta Khetagurov and Guram Sagharadze streets.
“During the specified period, vehicle movement from Noe Zhordania Embankment to Nikoloz Baratashvili Bridge and vice versa will remain unchanged, subject to current conditions. Additionally, movement from Shota Gamtsemlidze Street to Kosta Khetagurov Street will be completely restricted, with traffic diverted via Nino Chkheidze Street,” the statement explains.
“As for public transport, buses: N323, N333, N359, N395, and minibuses: N462, N522, and N536 will operate from Javakhishvili Street to Baratashvili Street via Noe Zhordania Embankment, before connecting to Baratashvili Street via Baratashvili Bridge. In the reverse direction, they will similarly use the Noe Zhordania Embankment and connect to Javakhishvili Street. After that, they will proceed according to the established routes,” the City Hall added.
Tbilisi City Hall apologises for any inconvenience caused.
