Vice President of "Wissol Group" Levan Pkhakadze says that the government of Georgia is committed to European values, which has been confirmed by effective steps over the years.
The businessman responds to the events related to the "Russian Law" on the social network and notes that transparency does not harm the interests of the country, on the contrary, it significantly increases the European standards of accountability, public awareness, and access to public information.
"The fact that our country's choice is Europe and European values, I think that all Georgians have one position on this.
It is this position that the current government of Georgia is loyal to, which has confirmed the Georgian foreign policy course over the years and adapted it to the will of the Georgian people. Since 2012, the business/economy has been unequivocally freed from pressure and illegal influence, full efforts have been directed to the implementation of the agenda stipulated by the Association Agreement between Georgia on the one hand and the European Union and its member states on the other hand. Under the conditions of the current government, the Georgian state declared its desire for European integration unequivocally and emphatically, at the level declared by the supreme law of the country, and at the end of last year we celebrated the granting of candidate status to Georgia, as the fulfillment of the unwavering will of the Georgian people!", Levan Pkhakadze wrote.
