Sanatoriums "Rkinigzeli" and "Imereti", located in Tskaltubo, could not be sold again.
The National State Property Agency offered the sanatoriums for privatization on a conditional electronic auction on June 7.
The initial price of "Rkinigzeli" sanatorium was GEL 5,135,000, while the "Imereti" sanatorium - GEL 3,124,500.

"Rkinigzeli"
Land area of 33,000 sq.m. and buildings, located in Rustaveli Street N51, were brought for sale for GEL 5 135 000. According to the investment conditions, at least a 120-room hotel complex should be built in the territory, for which no less than GEL 9,273,600 would be invested. The auction ended on June 21.
"Imereti"
Land area of 41150 sq.m. and buildings, located in Tskaltubo, were offered at a conditional electronic auction. The initial privatization cost of the mentioned sanatorium is GEL 3 124 500. According to the terms, a hotel infrastructure with at least 80 rooms should be developed in the territory, for which more than GEL 9,373,500 will be invested.
Within the framework of the project "New Life to Tskaltubo", the State Property Agency of the Ministry of Economy presented the business privatization package of 14 former sanatoriums, the value of which was GEL 50 million. As of today, the former sanatoriums "Tbilisi", "Usishroeba", "Tskaltubo" and "Samgurali" have been privatized. The total value of the sold objects made up GEL 16,265,300.
