Tamaz Mchedlidze, the founder of the "Bioli" wellness resort, says that in light of the current situation in the country, the facility has relatively fewer reservations this year.

As Tamaz Mchedlidze said in an interview with BMG, foreigners are cautious. It should be noted that the resort located outside the city, in Kojori, is mainly aimed at foreign visitors.

"Unfortunately, we have fewer bookings this year. They are more cautious and hesitate whether to come or not. This is the problem. 90% of our visitors are foreigners. In general, we have few local bookings, wellness is not so popular among Georgian customers. Last May was much better compared to this one, no doubt about it. It was a slightly different situation", says Tamaz Mchedlidze.

Regarding the issue of how the current instability in the country affected the plans of "Bioli", Tamaz Mchedlidze says that the plans themselves have not changed, although there is a delay regarding the residences, which are being offered commercially. In addition, according to the founder of "Bioli", the project attracted a lot of interest at the exhibition in Dubai, although now everyone is on standby mode.

"The project of residences, according to which anyone who wants to can buy a residential real estate at the health resort, has been delayed, let's wait and see what will happen. There are about 20 cottages that we will transfer to the ownership. In February, I was at an exhibition in Dubai, there was a lot of interest, and now it has stopped a bit. Everyone is waiting, we are on pause...", says Tamaz Mchedlidze.
