Until now, 50% of our products were exported, but now we see that the figure is increasing, - Ivane Goglidze, the founder of "Kula", said this while visiting BMGTV.
Speaking about the exporting countries, Goglidze said that "Kula" is sold in many countries, including Qatar, Albania, Romania, and Moldova. According to him, those countries were added in 2022-2023.
"Juices, jams, dried fruits, almost all products are exported, except for those that are in short supply even in Georgia, for example tomatoes. Exports were about 50/50 until now, but from what we see, exports are getting better. All this is related to several facts, our customers are the population of such countries who know Georgian national spices and sauces. Also, as the statistics show, the demand has increased everywhere. Our products are natural, we do not add any dyes, any preservatives", said Goglidze.
To the question of whether Georgian products need support from the state to establish themselves in other countries, the founder of "Kula" answers: "First of all, I will tell you that every Georgian embassy has an economic attaché who helps us and gives us advice. Which network is stronger, they send us information about distributors and exhibitions. No one will do your work, but they help us at the first stage. Most of the juice is exported, while the rest of the products are exported equally."
