“Unfortunately, she does not have the means to fundamentally change anything at this stage, but together with her, with her involvement, including due to her personal qualities, we are confident that we will be able to fundamentally reset our relationships from the next year,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated at a press conference held at the Government Administration in response to a question about the US Ambassador.
According to the Prime Minister, as soon as the interests change, the Ambassador will have the opportunity to switch to resetting relations.
“Personally, I have great respect for the Ambassador and appreciate her pragmatic and rational approach. Unfortunately, she does not have the means to fundamentally change anything at this stage, but together with her involvement, including her personal qualities, we are confident that from next year we will be able to fundamentally reset our relationships.
Of course, there will be pressure until the end of the year, and this is related to specific interests. As soon as the interests change, and this will happen from next year, after that, the Ambassador will have the opportunity to fully switch to resetting relationships,” the Prime Minister stated.
