Package forwarding company USA2GEORGIA is raising its tariff on shipments received in its U.S. warehouse. The company informed customers via official email that the current rate of $9 per kilogram will increase to $9.95 beginning March 20, 2026.
According to USA2GEORGIA, the price adjustment is driven by a sharp rise in aviation fuel costs. Citing the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the company said global economic conditions have pushed jet fuel prices up by 58.4%, which has significantly increased operational expenses across the air cargo industry.
Despite the pressure on costs, USA2GEORGIA said it will keep the existing $9/kg rate for all packages received in the U.S. warehouse before March 20. After that date, the updated price will apply, with weight still calculated based on the higher value between actual and volumetric weight.
The company emphasized its commitment to service reliability and quality amid global market challenges. BMG has reached out to USA2GEORGIA to ask whether tariffs will also rise for shipments from other origins, including China, Turkey, and Greece, and will publish updates upon receiving a response.
