Kakha Kazaradze, the head of ICR Group, believes that today the country is managed by the horoscope of epidemiologists and the business is considering ridiculous issues with the government.
Kakha Khazaradze says that the public and private sectors should now consider long-term development plans instead of talking about small issues in order to manage the virus and coexist with it.
“The biggest problem is that the government is always pointing to the epidemiologists at those meetings. So, the country lives according to the horoscope of epidemiologists. You cannot show me a country in the world that is run by epidemiologists instead of the economic team. I have great respect for people who care about people’s lives but we must not live by the horoscope of epidemiologists.
Instead of talking about the long-term visions, we ask them to work on weekends and shift the curfew. These issues are ridiculous because we are facing a serious problem - we have to manage and live with COVID-19. Unfortunately, the country is in a political crisis, which directly affects the business. It is unthinkable to attract foreign investments in this situation," said the founder of ICR Group.
