The managing partner of company "Dio" declares, tht the most important thing for Georgia's investment environment is to repair relations with Western partners and restore the process of integration into the European Union.
As Tamaz Daushvili told BMG, for this it is necessary that the elections be held democratically and the newly elected government continue the European Union path.
According to him, otherwise, a number of investment projects and the country's economy in general will be at risk.
"This is an extraordinary situation. Georgia has never had such a tense relationship and situation with its traditional partners in recent history, we must get out of this confrontational situation and restore the process of integration into the European Union.
If this does not happen, then many question marks will appear, what kind of country will we live in, what will be the exchange rate of GEL, what kind of financial sector will we have. If these relations deteriorate further, it is difficult for me to imagine how investment projects in Georgia will develop in the future. It is important that the elections are held peacefully and democratically, and most importantly, the next government should continue the pro-European path in order to continue those investment projects that are interesting for both our domestic and foreign investors", said Tamaz Daushvili.
