Member of Parliament, Chair of the Sports Committee, and President of the Georgian Basketball Federation Viktor Sanikidze has submitted his latest asset declaration, detailing his income, expenses, real estate holdings, savings, and other assets for 2025.
According to the declaration, Sanikidze owns a 175 sq. m apartment in Tbilisi on Tabidze Street 56, which he received as a gift, as well as an inherited 820 sq. m land plot in the village of Kotoraantkari, Mtskheta. He also owns a 219 sq. m residential house in Tbilisi on Gogoberidze Street, purchased in 2023 for GEL 1,041,200. In addition, he holds a 1% share in a 26,994 sq. m property on Khosharauli Street in Tbilisi, co-owned with more than 25 individuals. His wife, Maia Bitsadze, owns a 95 sq. m apartment on Chavchavadze Avenue No. 37, purchased in 2023 for $180,000. Sanikidze also owns a 50% share of a 198 sq. m house on Davit Gamrekeli Street No. 17, along with several nearby garages.
In terms of savings, Sanikidze reports a $187,268 deposit in the Swiss bank EFG Bank (European Financial Group), along with savings of up to GEL 37,000 and $7,000 in Georgian banks. He also declares $68,000 in cash.
His income includes GEL 119,731 from his parliamentary salary and GEL 61,530 as President of the Basketball Federation.
Other assets include two Rolex watches purchased in 2015 and 2017 for $11,000 and €8,000, respectively, as well as his wife’s watch purchased in 2023 for €7,600. He also owns a Toyota Camry received as a gift from his father in 2025.
Regarding business interests, Sanikidze holds a 50% stake in “Basketball Academy” LLC and 100% ownership of “Sani Sports” LLC. According to the declaration, neither company generated income in 2025.
His liabilities include a $400,000 mortgage taken out in 2023, for which he spent $45,000 in repayments in 2025.
