FC Dinamo Batumi has officially announced the appointment of Andriy Demchenko, a Ukrainian football coach and former player as an attacking midfielder or forward, as the head coach.
“We signed a contract with a Ukrainian specialist that will be valid until the end of 2025,” FC Dinamo Batumi stated.
Demchenko moved to Dinamo Batumi from FC Dila of Georgia’s eastern city Gori in which he has been appointed in 2021. Under Demchenko’s leadership, the team of Dila became a bronze winner of the National League twice.
At Dinamo Batumi the 47-year-old Demchenko replaced Gia Geguchadze.
According to Transfermarkt, one of the largest sport websites, total market value of Batumi Dinamo is €8.35m.
The most valuable player of the club is a second striker Flamarion, worth €1.00m. He is followed by right winger Georgiy Tsitaishvili and centre-forward Moussa Konaté both worth €900, 000. Defensive midfield Vladimer Mamuchashvili is fourth in the list, worth €500, 000.
