"Rustaveli Avenue is in the most difficult condition, the underground communications cannot withstand criticism", Tbilisi Deputy Mayor Irakli Bendeliani told the media about this.
According to him, the rehabilitation projects of the avenues in the capital are going according to plan, and the works on Rustaveli Ave. are expected to start next year.
"However, when we talk about the rehabilitation of avenues, it is impossible to start all projects at the same time due to finances. If we started the rehabilitation of Rustaveli and Vazha-Pshavela Avenues along with Tsereteli Avenue, we would have a complete traffic collapse in the city. Therefore, all these projects are implemented according to the plan. Next year we are going to start rehabilitation of Rustaveli Ave", says Irakli Bendeliani.
