The Ministry of Health reports, that Liana Chumburidze will be appointed director of the Central Republican Hospital on May 3, while old director Levan Gopodze will continue working at the clinic.
The former director of the hospital Levan Gopodze makes the first comment on the issue. Gopodze says he does not know the specific reason for his dismissal.
“Let’s look at this situation differently, I'm going back to my profession. I am physician and professor at a medical university, I have students I'm teaching and I'm going to continue my work again. Moreover, my health condition requires more attention. I decided to retire myself yesterday," said Levan Gopodze.
