According to data published by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, 4,370.8 thousand liters of wine were produced in Armenia from January to June of this year, including 481.0 thousand liters of sparkling wine (Champagne).
Compared to the same period in 2023, wine production has decreased by 38.5%, while the production of sparkling wine dropped by 18.8%.
Meanwhile, whiskey production (100% alcohol) increased 3.8 times to 1,598.3 thousand liters, vodka production (100% alcohol) rose by 32.1% to 724.8 thousand liters, and beer production increased by 5.6% to 12,756.9 thousand liters.
