In 2025, Wizz Air plans operated 6,800 flights from Kutaisi, serving over 1.8 million passengers, a 6.5% increase compared to the same period last year. The airline received more than 1.5 million bookings, up 6.7%, and achieved an average load factor of 99.7%, maintaining strong demand for its services in Georgia.
The Hungarian low-cost carrier emphasized that its 2025 operations focus on expanding new routes, enhancing customer-oriented strategies, and following sustainability principles, ensuring long-term connectivity and affordable access to Europe.
Since starting operations in Georgia in October 2012, Wizz Air has transported around 9 million passengers between Georgia and other countries. The airline continues to hold a leading position in the Georgian market, demonstrating strong financial and operational performance despite growing regional competition.
In 2025, Wizz Air’s strategic focus remained on Kutaisi International Airport, expanding direct flights to new European destinations, including Lyon and Venice, with Bratislava set to be added. The new routes strengthen Georgia’s connectivity with the EU, supporting both leisure and business travel.
