The world-renowned brand Napoleon will be bottled in Georgia. The Kachreti Winery, in collaboration with one of France’s most famous and traditional distilleries, Tessendier, will implement this project.
GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, together with Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and members of government and parliament, visited the Kachreti Winery wine and cognac factory.
According to the head of government’s assessment, the partnership between Georgian and French companies is yet another confirmation of foreign investors’ trust in Georgia’s business environment and state structures.
“We are proud of our winemaking and viticulture traditions. We take pride in the fact that Georgia is the historic and traditional centre of winemaking, while France is renowned as the birthplace of cognac. I believe this fascinating synthesis will result in the highest quality product in Georgia. For me, this collaboration serves as further proof that foreign investors and companies have confidence in Georgia’s business environment, our legislation, and state institutions. The Government of Georgia will continue to do everything in future to facilitate this type of collaboration with foreign companies,” - Kobakhidze declared.
