"We have decided to gradually and carefully restore air traffic," Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said after the government session.
According to him, flights will be added from both Tbilisi and Kutaisi gradually.
"The first step will be to add flights from the end of October. This is in the direction of France and Munich. The first step will be to establish additional flights to these destinations, which will enable our citizens to move around Europe and provide more oxygen to the country's economy. This will allow us to bring in observers easily.
At the same time, I emphasize that the flights will be opened gradually but carefully in November, from Tbilisi to Europe, and from Kutaisi to Europe. We are doing it to enable our citizens to be more easily employed through economic activity," he said.
