Construction of a modern residential complex for displaced families is underway in Rustavi, with the project financed by the state budget at a cost of GEL 80.97 million, according to the Ministry of Health.
The project includes the construction of four new apartment blocks, where 800 displaced families will receive fully renovated apartments. The complex will also feature a stadium, children’s playgrounds, and outdoor exercise areas.
Deputy Health Minister Giorgi Tsagareishvili and the head of the Displacement Agency Davit Kaikatsishvili visited the construction site to review progress.
Similar housing projects for displaced families are also being developed in Tbilisi, Zugdidi, and Borjomi as part of the government’s resettlement program.
