The capital of Armenia is set to welcome a prestigious football academy affiliated with the Italian club Juventus. The government has already approved the allocation of one of the Football Federation's fields for this project.
The academy will operate under a franchise agreement, allowing the Armenian company Next Gen Sports to use the Juventus brand and implement its training methodologies for young footballers. In return, the company is committed to establishing a modern training complex and bringing in European specialists to work with young talents.
Special emphasis will be placed on maintaining connections with football agents who will monitor the progress of Armenian trainees. The academy is expected to generate most of its revenue from contracts secured by its graduates with European clubs.
It’s worth noting that Juventus already operates similar academies in several countries, including Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Greece, and Poland.
