Armenia held a meeting of the Interagency Commission for Investment Project Support, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, to address key aspects of improving the country's investment climate.
According to the government’s press service, during the December 18 session, participants focused on developing mechanisms for evaluating competing investment projects vying for the same territory. Additionally, discussions centered on improving the system for monitoring compliance with commitments under implemented investment projects.
The meeting included a detailed discussion of current challenges faced during the implementation of individual investment projects and potential solutions. Commission members analyzed various approaches to resolving existing issues to ensure the more effective execution of investment initiatives.
A separate agenda item involved reviewing the progress of measures outlined in the government’s Investment Attraction Program. Following the discussions, Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan issued several specific directives aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of measures planned to improve the country's investment climate.
