On June 19, Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, met with a delegation led by the U.S. State Department's Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs, Sarah Morgenthau, according to the ministry's press service.
The minister emphasized the importance of Sarah Morgenthau's visit to Armenia and highlighted the significance of deepening friendly and trade relations between Armenia and the United States.
During the meeting, they discussed the involvement of American companies in various infrastructure projects, including road construction projects, and the attraction of American investments in Armenia.
Sanosyan also presented the details of the "Crossroads of Peace" project and its associated infrastructure projects to Sarah Morgenthau.
The situation in the Lori and Tavush regions following recent disasters was also addressed. Morgenthau emphasized the importance of restoring bridges and other infrastructure in the affected regions.
Additionally, they discussed the potential for establishing direct air connections between Armenia and the United States, along with a number of other issues.
