Georgia’s imports of books, brochures and similar printed materials decreased in January–November 2025. According to Geostat, the country imported 1,477 tons of printed products worth $7.6 million, down from $8 million and 1,585 tons in the same period of 2024.
As a result, the value of imports declined by 5.4% year-over-year, while the volume decreased by 6.8%.
In the first 11 months of 2025, Turkey remained the largest supplier, exporting $3.1 million worth of printed materials (792 tons) to Georgia. It was followed by Poland with $799,000 (44 tons), and the United Kingdom with $787,000 (41 tons).
Other notable import partners included:
- Iran – $707,000 (262 tons)
- China – $658,000 (152 tons)
- Germany – $394,000 (28 tons)
- Hong Kong – $248,000 (58 tons)
- Russia – $198,000 (19 tons)
- France – $133,000 (2 tons)
- Belgium – $103,000 (2 tons)
