18 November 2024, EU Foreign Affairs Council will exchange views on the situation in Georgia, in light of the parliamentary elections held on 26 October.
The discussions will be chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell.
In addition, Foreign Affairs Council EU Foreign Affairs Ministers will discuss the Russian aggression against Ukraine, after an informal exchange of views with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, via videoconference. As well as, EU Ministers are expected to discuss transatlantic relations in light of the outcome of the US presidential and parliamentary elections of 5 November.
