The estimated real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate amounted to 11.8% for April 2024 compared to previous year and the average real GDP growth for January-April 2024 equaled 9%, - according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
According to the document, in April 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, the estimated real growth in following activities contributed significantly: Manufacturing, Construction, Information and communication, Transportation and storage, Trade, Professional, scientific and technical activities.
Decline were registered in Energy sector.
