In the first half of 2025, the Gldani District Administration has carried out infrastructure projects worth GEL 7,142,787, funded by the local budget, according to a statement released by Tbilisi City Hall.

The district saw major upgrades across multiple areas, including road infrastructure, public squares, and sports fields. In total, roadworks were completed on an area of 48,102 square meters, while improvement projects were implemented at 35 locations throughout the district.

Governor of Gldani District Besik Kaladze, who visited one of the completed projects, emphasized the administration’s commitment to addressing the real needs of residents.

“It is of utmost importance for us to implement projects tailored to the population and eliminate the problems that citizens are concerned about. That is why the administration prioritizes both infrastructure and social or cultural development,” Kaladze stated.

He added that, in addition to road rehabilitation and green space creation, illegal garages were dismantled and replaced with public squares, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of the district.

Kaladze also highlighted the ongoing support for homeowners' associations and promised that more impactful projects are planned for the remainder of the year.

The Gldani administration’s efforts reflect a broader strategy by the Tbilisi City Hall to improve urban living conditions through targeted infrastructure investment and community engagement.
