A total of 3,021,067 international travellers visited Georgia in the first and second quarters of 2024, reflecting a 5.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023, the National Tourism Administration reported.
During the first half of the year, Georgia welcomed 2,123,816 international tourist visits, marking a 10% increase compared to 2023.
In the second quarter of 2024, 1,720,516 international travellers visited Georgia, representing a 4.2% increase compared to 2023. Between April and June, Georgia saw 1,185,172 international tourist visits, demonstrating a 9.2% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The National Tourism Administration clarified that the number of international travellers and international tourist visits is calculated according to the methodology recommended by the World Tourism Organization and includes completed visits.
