Georgian Gov't Has Exemplary, Best Cooperation With International Financial Institutions - Minister

The Minister of Economy, Levan Davitashvili says that the Georgian government has exemplary, best cooperation with international financial institutions. Davitashvili stated this in response to a question regarding the possible termination of financing of government projects by international financial institutions after the implementation of the "Russian Law".

"Peace and stability are of the utmost importance for the Georgian government, in order to have economic progress and development. I think that the government jointly with the population, achieves this quite well.

Regarding the decisions of international financial institutions, ask them these questions directly. The government of Georgia has an exemplary, best cooperation with international financial institutions", Davitashvili noted.

According to him, the direction of European integration is the most important for the government and this priority has not changed.

"There is no alternative to dialogue with partners, we will talk about many issues and agree on many topics. We will also make progress on the path of European integration in terms of political rapprochement. We are fulfilling the main priorities that the European Commission talked about, the work does not stop there. The facts show one thing that the government of Georgia is doing everything to bring the country closer to the European Union in terms of legislation and politics and to continue the integration process", says Levan Davitashvili.
