GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Arpine Sargsyan, Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia, who is on an official visit to Georgia.
According to the Government Administration, the meeting focused on the friendly, good-neighborly relations between the two countries and emphasized the strong cooperation between their law enforcement agencies.
The leaders highlighted the importance of lasting peace in the South Caucasus, positively assessing progress in peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and expressing hope for the signing of a peace agreement soon.
Kobakhidze reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness to support regional dialogue and stability.
Georgian Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri (correct name, if Geka Geladze is an error) also attended the meeting.
