Georgian wines produced by 24 companies were prominently featured at the three-day international fair ProWein Düsseldorf, thanks to the support of the National Wine Agency, the Georgian Embassy in Germany, and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture.
During the fair, Georgian wine expert Inge Mainzer and German influencer Toni Askitis led a tasting session that showcased approximately 300 bottles of various Georgian wine varieties.
This year marked Georgia’s 25th consecutive participation in ProWein Düsseldorf. Wine experts, representatives from the commercial sector, and guests had the opportunity to sample a diverse range of Georgian wines.
According to the Ministry, participation in this fair aims to popularize Georgian products and diversify export markets, ultimately boosting sales.
Levan Mukhuzla, Chair of the National Wine Agency, and Acting Ambassador Ana Abuladze met with Prowein Director Peter Schmitz to discuss plans for future collaboration.
