Giorgi Eradze has been appointed as the new Director General of Georgian Post, replacing Levan Chikvaidze, the company announced on Monday. The official application for the leadership change was registered with the Business Register.
Eradze previously served as Director General of the private logistics company Space Cargo, which provides air logistics services. Founded in 2018, Space Cargo reported annual revenue of 9.6 million GEL and profit of 1.3 million GEL in 2023. The company is fully owned by Teona Kobalia.
Levan Chikvaidze held the position of Director General at Georgian Post since 2012, making him the longest-serving CEO among state-owned enterprises in Georgia.
According to the documentation submitted to the Business Register, Giorgi Eradze’s monthly salary will be 14,000 GEL, equivalent to an annual income of 168,000 GEL, up from Chikvaidze’s annual 135,000 GEL (including Georgian Post and its subsidiary Express).
The company also confirmed that the new version of the founding agreement of Georgian Post LLC will be approved as part of the transition.
