Fuel prices paid by the Georgian government declined by an average of 12–13% in July under the country's consolidated fuel procurement tender, according to updated pricing published on the State Procurement Agency's website.

Under the framework agreement, the government purchases regular gasoline from SOCAR, premium gasoline from Rompetrol, super gasoline and diesel from Wissol, and Euro diesel from Gulf. The new procurement prices are: Super gasoline – GEL 3.17 per liter (down from GEL 3.62, -12.4%), Premium gasoline – GEL 2.87 (down from GEL 3.31, -13.3%), Euro regular gasoline – GEL 2.85 (down from GEL 3.28, -13.1%), and Euro diesel – GEL 3.20 (down from GEL 3.69, -13.3%).

The government procures fuel for ministries and public agencies through consolidated tenders with major oil companies. Under the contracts, prices are recalculated monthly using a formula based on the previous month's average Platts European Market fuel prices, the GEL exchange rate, excise tax, and VAT. Prices are adjusted only if the monthly change exceeds 3%.

The July price reduction was driven by a decline in the average Platts gasoline price, which fell to $948 per ton in June from $1,127 per ton in May. Retail fuel prices remain significantly higher, with regular gasoline currently selling for GEL 3.53–3.65 per liter, premium for GEL 3.68–3.78, and super gasoline for GEL 4.13–4.22.
