A high-speed passenger train en route Baku-Tbilisi-Ankara might be launched, Azer Farajov, Deputy Head of the Passenger Transportation Department of Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) Closed Joint Stock Company, said in his interview with APA-Economics.
According to him, the train might include bed-type passenger wagons produced by Stadler Rail Group.
“As part of our post-pandemic measures package, a high-speed passenger train consisting of bed-type passenger wagons produced by Stadler Rail Group might be launched en route Baku-Tbilisi-Ankara if the interstate land borders are opened,” Azer Farajov noted.
